If you've been wanting more information about how visitors are getting to your website or what they're doing once they're there, google analytics - a free web analytics tool, promises to be a solid choice, as its based off of a solid, high-end product which they purchased earlier this year, called Urchin.

If you're thinking about getting into online commerce, or for some other reason, you need to have a secure section on your website, check out my recent detailed tutorial on setting up an SSL certificate with GoDaddy. The tutorial is for those who have shell access to their web host - the certs go for like $20/month - not a bad deal compared to higher end certs which could go for $120/month.

Also, Google Base was recently launched, which is kind of a classifieds listing by google. It allows users to submit content and tag it with whatever descriptions you choose. I believe they'll shortly tie in micropayments, which people have speculated on, and thereby open up fast, easy and free e-commerce listings for everyone.

Sincerely,
Kalen Jordan
